From Nov. 19th to 21st, a delegation of 4 people, including Mr. Jose Valanta, Director of the Economic Development Administration of Vantaa, Finland, as well as the representatives of Invest in Finland and the Capital Circle Economic Development Administration of Finland, visited Jinan. The delegation participated in the International Summit Forum of China’s Intelligent Manufacturing and the Innovative Business Conference of China’s Intelligent Industry sponsored by Jinan, and held talks with the High-tech Zone, the Jinan Science & Technology Bureau and the Foreign Affairs Office of Jinan Municipal People’s Government to discuss the cooperation direction of the two cities in the aspects of economy & trade and science and technology. Through discussion, the High-tech Zone planned to set up an office in Vantaa in 2016, with Vantaa as the center to radiate to the enterprises in the fields of information technology, energy conservation & environmental protection, etc. in the Capital Circle of Helsinki and even the whole Finland. While promoting the foreign cooperation pace of enterprises in Jinan, it also supports the enterprises in Jinan to gradually carry out cross-border M&A and other activities.
